Join us for an informal conversation with KATHRYN FRIIS about her recent paintings, currently on display at Agora Gallery until May 8.

KATHRYN FRIIS grew up in Stratford and studied Visual Arts at York University. The exhibition at Agora Gallery consists of brilliantly coloured landscapes inspired by the woods near her former home in Caledon, Ontario and sumptuous paintings of cut flowers – some bright, some dark – exploring the still life tradition in a very unique and dynamic way. Although Friis has exhibited in many group shows and her work is in collections across North American and Europe, this is her first solo exhibition.
