Glenn Elliott has been painting large abstract works and fabricating inventive sculptures – made from everything from bicycle rims, spoons and shot glasses to laser-cut stainless steel – from his base in Stratford for over 30 years.  A preacher’s kid from Texas, where he studied Fine Arts, he began his career at the Alley Theatre in Houston before making his way to Stratford, where he worked for the Stratford Festival for 36 years as a prop builder.  He has exhibited extensively, including a retrospective at Gallery Stratford in 2009, and has work in public and private collections in Canada, France and the United States.
